Chisholm’s Commitment to industry and community

employers and community clients in a meeting

Chisholm’s primary focus is the southeast of Melbourne and in 2023 we have launched a campaign to listen and learn more from our employers and communities across the region and to improve your access to Chisholm.

Strong and enduring industry and community connections can better inform how Chisholm can educate and skill our communities and industries for generations to come.

Our ambition is to transform lives through relevant and responsive high-quality education and training.

Engagement with industry and community informs the actions we take to deliver on student and employer expectations, provide consistent high-quality education and extend our influence to grow our markets.

Chisholm relies upon partnerships across the southeast to build awareness of learning opportunities and reduce barriers to education and training.

In 2023, the Industry and Community Engagement function established 15 new Industry Advisory Groups in critical areas of delivery, and these comprise:

  • Aged Care
  • Allied Health (Nursing and Clinical Health)
  • Aquatics
  • Automotive
  • Business and Information Technology
